ION Playlists make it possible for you to share your favorite web media with friends and fans. Once you've installed ION, Playlists give you a place to organize and manage your favorite web media whether it's the weird thing you found on YouTube or a favorite clip from your friend?s podcast. If you want to, you can share your playlist with people everywhere. Once you're playlist is shared, friends and family can subscribe to a syndicated feed and every time you add new media, it will be pushed to your subscribers.
The first step is to create your playlist. Within ION, you can start by creating a playlist. Use the menu drop down or the "New Playlist" button. You can right click or control click on your playlist to change the name or the description.
The next step is to add content to the playlist. This can be done by dragging and dropping clips from your channels or from search result. Just select, drag and drop.
You can let the world know what you think is funny, cool, strange, political or important by sharing your playlist. To let others experience your playlist, you will need to create a share account. Enter a user name, password and your email address and your playlist will appear on iondb.com. Friends can find and subscribe to your playlist. You can update the new additions to your playlist whenever you want and they'll automatically be pushed to your subscribers.
